Exposure to international students in social and community service

Given The Quest’s strong linkages with Indian non-government organisations and civil society networks, it is well placed to provide value-based internships, long stays and immersion programmes for international students. Providing personalised services on a case-to-case basis, effort is made to match the students’ interest and connect him/her to the most relevant NGO/CBO across the country and to facilitate other living arrangements for the duration of the service. Students can choose to work in the cities or rural areas. They can be placed in schools, health care institutions, special needs centres, orphanages, old age homes, projects run through the corporate social responsibility (CSR) of companies in the area of sanitation and hygiene, literacy and girl child education, skill development for youth, farmers’ collectives, economic empowerment of women through self-help groups, financial literacy, mental health and digital health initiatives, amongst others. Support and guidance for other logistics will also be provided.
