Announcing the EQI Global Schools Challenge 2022

Organised by the Department of Education, Queensland Government, Australia and coordinated in India by The Quest, the approved and authorized partner The partnership encourages Indian schools and universities to participate in study tours, exchange programmes and other leadership trainings and events organised by the Queensland government, Australia and their education department.

Keeping in mind the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the virtual EQI Global Schools Challenge is being organised from 5th March to 31st March 2022. The EQI Global Schools Challenge is an international competition providing high school students a unique opportunity to partner Queensland Government schools and present solutions to global issues. Participants will:

  1. Develop their cultural awareness by sharing cultural and global perspectives
  2. Enhance their global leadership and entrepreneurial skills while navigating global issues
  3. Experience the Queensland classroom through interactive and collaborative sessions
Over two half day summits on 5th March and 12th March, students will engage in plenary sessions, workshops & presentations. Each Indian school will be paired with a Queensland public school. The competition involves working on one of three topics on Robots in the Workplace; Throwaway society; War of Food Waste. There will be four winners. A winning group for each case study category – the judging panel will then select one of the three category winners to be the overarching 2022 Global Schools Challenge winner. The winning international group for each case study category will receive: A formal certificate and a trophy. The overarching 2022 Global Schools Challenge (GSC) winning international group will receive: A formal certificate, trophy and $5000.00 AUD.



Registration details
  1. Any school can participate. Minimum number of students is 20-35. One teacher from the school would be part of the programme on complementary basis
  2. Student eligibility: 13-18 years
  3. Last date for registration is 20th October, 2021.
  4. Programme fee to be made to The Quest @ 18,500 including GST
Please note no direct applications will be considered. Since Quest is the India partner for EQI the registration has to be routed through us.
